Scalp Massages
I’ve heard from a lot of people that scalp massages can help decrease hair loss. I can’t say that I have found any actual information to support that, although I do know that there are plenty of people out there who would say otherwise.
I’ve never seen this method tested, but I do know that in the clinical trial of minoxidil, patients that were assigned a placebo for their testing and massaged it into their scalp twice a day did not see any improvement.
One of the main reasons why hair loss occurs in men is that their hair follicles stop receiving regular blood flow because DHT attaches to the follicles and blocks the flow of blood. It would seem natural that if you were to increase the blood flow by massaging your scalp, you would be able to start to regrow your hair. The only problem is that the blood flow only increases while you are massaging, and once you are done, you will not see and improvement in blood flow.
So, I would not encourage anyone to start with a scalp massage regiment in hopes of regrowing hair. If you are planning on massaging your scalp, you should at least by using a good minoxidil based product like ProRestora so that you can increase your odds of success.
